Bridging Knowledge & Action in Islamic Finance

💡 Finance should be ethical, transparent, and accessible to all. But for many individuals and businesses, navigating Islamic finance is still a challenge. Complex regulations, limited access, and a lack of clear guidance make it difficult to find the right solutions.

That’s where my journey begins.

Who Am I?

I’m Norhidayah Jamilan, a PhD researcher in Islamic Finance at the University of Dundee.

My passion lies in bridging the gap between academic research and practical financial solutions. Over the years, I’ve seen how many people struggle to access ethical finance—not because the options don’t exist, but because information is scattered, outdated, or difficult to understand.

I believe finance should empower, not exclude. And that belief led me to create NorFinanceHub—a platform designed to simplify access to Islamic finance resources and connect people with ethical financial solutions.

My Mission

📌 To make Islamic finance practical, accessible, and actionable.
📌 To educate and empower individuals and businesses seeking ethical financial solutions.
📌 To bridge the gap between financial theory and real-world application.

Finance should serve people—not the other way around. That’s why my work focuses on removing barriers, providing clarity, and making ethical finance an option for everyone.

What I Do?

💡 Research & Education – As a PhD researcher, I explore Islamic finance principles, market trends, and challenges, translating academic insights into practical knowledge.

💡 Building NorFinanceHub – A one-stop platform designed to help individuals and businesses navigate, learn, and connect with Islamic finance solutions.

💡 Simplifying Complex Financial Concepts – Through articles, resources, and insights, I break down Islamic finance in a way that’s easy to understand and apply.
